Can We Name a Current Cheapest Gym?
Not reliably from these records. Earlier versions treated some older or limited-access amounts as directly comparable monthly memberships. In particular, the Scotts Valley Gym listing records $27 as a day pass, not a monthly membership. The unsupported $27/month claim has been removed. The table below is not a current cheapest-to-most-expensive ranking.

Community eligibility and any annual fees should be confirmed; a student discount is not established just by the plan name. Pacific Edge’s official membership page distinguishes weight-room-only, climbing and yoga plans. Compare the Full Cost, Not Just the Monthly Number
Ask for a written quote showing enrollment and annual fees, the billing interval, minimum commitment, cancellation notice, eligibility and included locations. A prepaid annual price divided by 12 is not a cancellable monthly plan. Weight-room-only access is not the same product as classes, climbing, pool or recovery access.

Compare the linked listings by neighborhood and the equipment you will actually use. A nearby gym you attend regularly can be more useful than a lower advertised rate with a long drive or limited access.
